We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer 1 - Backend to join our engineering team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced Agile environment designing, building, and implementing best-in-class integrations that accelerate how project44 connects to the world's logistics networks. As a senior engineer, you will take ownership of significant technical components, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions that scale our platform.
You will be responsible for developing robust backend systems that handle complex supply chain data flows, designing APIs and integrations with logistics partners, and ensuring system reliability and performance at scale. Your work will directly impact how customers gain visibility and intelligence across their supply chains.
The ideal candidate has deep backend engineering expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and experience building scalable distributed systems. You should be comfortable working with modern cloud infrastructure, databases, and microservices architectures. Experience with supply chain, logistics, or data-intensive applications is a plus.
