As a Senior RF Systems Engineer, you will own the full lifecycle of RF hardware solutions for both airborne and ground-station systems. Your responsibilities span from requirements identification and system architecture design through testing, integration, and field support. You will simulate and model RF hardware for communication systems and sensors, develop comprehensive test concepts including far-field/near-field measurements, environmental testing (vibration, shock, thermal, thermal vacuum), and design microwave circuits and assemblies. You'll lead end-to-end design validation, conduct troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of hardware performance issues, and collaborate with manufacturing and production teams on RF module and antenna subsystem procurement and integration. Additionally, you'll perform data analysis, generate technical documentation, and present results to cross-functional teams.
This role requires strong RF fundamentals, broad design experience across multiple domains, and efficient troubleshooting capabilities. You'll work in a multi-disciplinary environment with engineering, manufacturing, and quality professionals in a startup-paced, hardware-focused culture.
