ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space, operating the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. As a Senior Network Engineer in the Product Networking department, you will lead critical network infrastructure that connects ground stations, data centers, and cloud environments supporting satellite operations and customer deliveries.
You will own and lead multi-sprint work on network subsystems from design through rollout and day-to-day operation. Key responsibilities include designing and evolving secure, reliable connectivity between distributed infrastructure; designing highly available networking setups for critical customer deployments; building and managing network infrastructure through automation, API-driven configuration, and version-controlled change management across routers, switches, and firewalls. You will serve as a go-to expert for deep network issues in production, establishing patterns and guardrails to prevent recurrence. You will shape how the team designs, reviews, and documents network changes with cross-team impact in mind, setting standards for managing change in critical production systems. The role emphasizes ownership of critical production systems with focus on reliability, observability, and security against real-world threats.
The position reports to the Engineering Manager and operates on a hybrid model (3 days per week in office) in Espoo, Finland or Berlin, Germany. Employment is subject to applicable security screening.
