As Senior Marketing Analyst for CRM, you will be the single analytics owner for the CRM function—the go-to partner for CRM marketers and Product teams. You will own how campaigns are measured, how communication data is built and trusted, and how insights drive business decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the analytics partner to CRM marketers and Product on every initiative, working collaboratively to improve campaign results
- Define measurement methodology for different campaign types (always-on journeys, one-off blasts, product launches), determine what "delivered" means per channel, and defend methodology to stakeholders
- Translate technical concepts into plain language for marketers: explain how experiments work, what holdouts are, and why numbers can or cannot be trusted
- Own CRM performance measurement including control groups, holdouts, and A/B tests
- Manage CRM analytics data in dbt on BigQuery: track who receives which message, on which channel, for which product, and frequency
- Partner with the data platform team: specify data needs from CRM and attribution tools, agree on timelines, and sign off on data quality
- Build Tableau dashboards that enable stakeholders to test hypotheses, answer questions, and spot insights independently
- Maintain a self-serve AI analytics assistant so non-technical colleagues can run ad-hoc analysis without waiting for analyst support
- Collaborate with data science teams on propensity and recommendation models: ask critical questions, identify when models underperform, and drive validation tests
You will not build data pipelines yourself; you define what data you need and accept its quality.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a data, marketing, or CRM analyst with exposure to CRM, lifecycle, or retention analytics
- Strong SQL and hands-on dbt experience (dbt on BigQuery); experience designing and maintaining data models, not just querying
- Experience with CRM engagement platforms (Customer.io, MoEngage, Braze, Iterable, or similar); understanding of journeys, events, profile attributes, and delivery semantics
- Solid experience with marketing experimentation: holdout design, global static control groups, control group integrity, A/B tests, incrementality vs. attribution
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in Tableau or similar BI tool
- Proactive ownership: find problems in data and processes before stakeholders do, audit your domain independently, bring ideas on achieving business goals
- Thinking partnership: stakeholders should brainstorm with you, not just hand you tasks
- First-time-right quality: numbers you ship are trusted without second verification
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of uplift modeling and causal ML with ability to create MVP versions
- Propensity, churn, or LTV modeling experience
