You will be the first dedicated marketing hire for Mexico, building Airwallex's marketing presence from the ground up in a key Latin American cross-border commerce market. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, NA, you'll own all aspects of Mexico's marketing strategy, execution, and budget.
Key responsibilities include: planning and executing local physical and hybrid events (C-level roundtables, customer workshops, trade shows, conferences); developing and executing a local content roadmap including thought leadership, whitepapers, and lead magnets; localizing global messaging and campaigns for Mexican businesses and decision-makers; building programs around cross-border commerce, international business, fintech, and digital ecosystems; developing high-quality Spanish-language content and customer communications; partnering with the local commercial team to identify priority industries and segments; building relationships with Mexican fintech, tech, commerce, and startup communities; coordinating with Product, Operations, Legal, and Compliance; owning the regional marketing budget with focus on ROI; defining and tracking local KPIs tied to pipeline, revenue, and customer acquisition; and serving as Airwallex's marketing voice in Mexico at events, media, and with ecosystem partners.
You'll operate independently, move fast in ambiguity, and connect marketing activity directly to business outcomes. You'll collaborate across global teams spanning multiple time zones.
