- Collaborating with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products
- Maturing product designs for scale with focus on manufacturing optimization and mass production
- Operating in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer-operated hardware
The role combines hands-on technical expertise with people management, requiring someone who can guide teams through complex embedded systems development while maintaining deep technical credibility in electrical engineering.
REQUIREMENTS:

- 10+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex embedded systems and products
- Demonstrated experience designing and integrating mixed-signal circuits
- Proficiency with Altium or equivalent ECAD tools
- Competence with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes) and test automation
- Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and support staff
- Experience working on products used in extreme environments (aerospace, defense, etc.)
- U.S. Person status required (access to export-controlled data)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated ownership of unit and subsystem-level payloads or products
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience
- Product maturation for scalable solutions in manufacturing environments
- Systems engineering and architectural trade experience with payloads or products
- Proficiency with embedded software and firmware (C/Linux a plus)
- Experience developing for safety-critical environments (human in the loop)
- Knowledge of software protocols for embedded development (timers, interrupts, hardware peripherals such as SPI controllers and ADCs)
