Sportradar is the world's leading sports technology company serving over 1,700 sports federations, media outlets, betting operators, and consumer platforms across 120 countries. The Odds Tribe division offers trading services used by over 200 organizations worldwide, managing betting probabilities using leading-edge mathematical models and providing web interfaces for sportsbook control.
In this role, you will build high-performance services and products on top of real-time sports data collected 24/7 globally across 30+ sports. You'll have a real opportunity to influence design and technology decisions, become a domain expert in real-time sports data systems, and use ATDD/BDD techniques in daily work with Github and GitLab CI.
You will take ownership of complex initiatives independently—from architecture decisions to post-incident reviews. You'll mentor others naturally, perform constructive technical reviews, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is a senior individual contributor role where you demonstrate engineering leadership and serve as a role model to peers.
Sportradar emphasizes a supportive, collaborative environment with offices in Europe, Asia, and the US. The company is committed to diversity and inclusion, with flexible working hours and professional development plans. However, this role is fully office-based in Ljubljana, as the company strongly values in-person collaboration, knowledge sharing, fast decision-making, and team connection.
