Factbird helps manufacturers turn real-time production data into actionable decisions. Since 2016, the company has served over 300 manufacturers across 28 countries, helping them reduce waste, improve uptime, and optimize operations. The team of 80+ is based in Copenhagen and the US. You'll join the engineering team as a Senior Full Stack Cloud Engineer, working across a modern stack: React frontend, Rust and Node.js backend, and multi-account AWS infrastructure. The role is genuinely full stack—you'll own features end to end, from concept through shipped, tested, monitored production software. Some positions lean backend (APIs, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure); others lean frontend (customer-facing interfaces). What matters is comfort owning a feature across the entire stack and willingness to work wherever the team needs you. Key responsibilities include: - Operating within a Nix-backed development and build ecosystem - Owning features end to end: from user story through shipped, tested production software - Building and maintaining React frontend features and backend services in TypeScript/Node.js and Rust - Writing infrastructure as code (AWS CDK) for systems you build - Working with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, and EKS - Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and demos - Designing systems and data pipelines from scratch - Mentoring other engineers and authoring RFCs and architecture decisions - Helping set technical standards for the team You'll thrive here if you have a pragmatic, get-it-done mindset, strong instincts for testing and clean design, and can explain technical trade-offs clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS: - At least 5 years of professional experience since graduating from a relevant Master's program - Solid, hands-on full-stack experience: frontend (React or equivalent) and backend (Rust/Node.js or equivalent), even with a natural preference for one side - Comfort working with AWS or another major cloud provider - Track record of shipping features independently with strong instincts for testing, code quality, and clean design - Strong English fluency and excellent communication skills - Experience designing systems from scratch, mentoring engineers, or driving architecture decisions - Legal right to live and work in Denmark (company can contribute to relocation costs for the right candidate)
