You'll join the engineering team as a Senior Full Stack Cloud Engineer, working across a modern stack: React frontend, Rust and Node.js backend, and multi-account AWS infrastructure. The role is genuinely full stack—you'll own features end to end, from concept through shipped, tested, monitored production software. Some positions lean backend (APIs, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure); others lean frontend (customer-facing interfaces). What matters is comfort across the entire stack and willingness to work wherever the team needs you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating within a Nix-backed development ecosystem, from tooling to cross-compiled build artifacts
- Owning features end to end: rough idea through shipped, tested production software
- Building and maintaining React frontend features and backend services in TypeScript/Node.js and Rust
- Writing infrastructure as code (AWS CDK) for systems you build
- Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, story breakdown, and demos
- Designing systems and data pipelines from scratch, mentoring engineers, authoring RFCs and architecture decisions, and setting technical standards
You'll be a confident independent contributor who leans into ownership, shapes architecture, and invests in mentoring. A pragmatic, get-it-done mindset is essential, along with strong instincts for testing, clean design, and clear communication of technical trade-offs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least five years of professional experience since graduating from a relevant Master's program
- Solid, hands-on full-stack experience: frontend (React or equivalent) and backend (Rust/Node.js or equivalent), even with a natural preference for one side
- Comfort working with AWS or another major cloud provider
- Track record of shipping features independently with good instincts for testing, code quality, and clean design
- Strong English fluency and ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to engineers and non-technical audiences
- Experience designing systems from scratch, mentoring engineers, or driving architecture decisions
- Legal right to live and work in Denmark (relocation support available for the right candidate)
