As Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a growing engineering team of 20+ engineers with a hands-on leadership approach. You'll own the technical roadmap and delivery of existing and new products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape strategy and product direction. Your role balances strategic technical decision-making with direct team leadership and mentorship. Key responsibilities include: - Leading and developing a 20+ person engineering team with focus on hiring, retention, and career growth - Driving strategic technical decisions in collaboration with product, finance, and other cross-functional partners - Leading cross-domain technical initiatives aligned with business and product goals - Identifying team improvements and coordinating efforts to enhance velocity and effectiveness - Shaping domain vision and influencing strategic direction for ongoing product improvement - Maintaining hands-on technical involvement while mentoring high-performing engineers - Delivering results at scale and speed with a bias for action You'll work in a fast-paced environment where your impact is highly visible, directly contributing to customer experience improvements and company success. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of proven leadership and management experience in engineering - Demonstrated success hiring, retaining, and developing top engineering talent - Strong hands-on technical expertise in building scalable, resilient, full-stack systems in diverse environments - Experience with large-scale distributed systems and/or guiding teams through complex technical transitions - Strong mentorship and teaching mindset; ability to invest in engineer growth through code reviews, architectural guidance, and coaching - Collaborative leadership style fostering openness, trust, and peer learning - Bias for action: moving fast without compromising quality, learning from mistakes - Commitment to consistent delivery of customer value ("Always Be Shipping" mindset) Note: Visa and relocation support is not offered for this role.
