Scopely is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Monopoly GO! team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. Monopoly GO! is one of Scopely's largest and most successful mobile games, with teams distributed globally across Spain and the US.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and scaling of gameplay systems, tools, and pipelines for one of the world's most successful mobile games. You will own features and systems from design through release and live operation, collaborating with designers, artists, data analysts, and other engineers to continuously improve the player experience. Your responsibilities include building clean, performant, testable code across gameplay, LiveOps tooling, backend integration, and related systems; improving content pipelines and automating workflows to help other teams ship content safely; investigating live-game incidents to identify root causes and implement better monitoring; prototyping new features and exploring how AI can improve team workflows and delivery; and mentoring less experienced engineers through code review, pairing, and feedback.
You will work within a world-class engineering organization, helping shape the future of how the team operates while learning from peers across a global studio.
