Brex is an intelligent finance platform enabling companies to spend smarter across 200+ markets through corporate cards, banking, spend management, and travel software. This Senior Design Sourcer role is foundational to building Brex's design talent pipeline by identifying, engaging, and nurturing world-class designers who shape product experience.
You will lead proactive sourcing and outreach efforts for Product Design, Brand Design, and Design Leadership roles using recruiting platforms, creative communities, portfolio sites, and professional networks. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining diverse, high-quality design talent pipelines for immediate and future hiring needs; identifying and engaging passive candidates through personalized outreach; supporting evaluation of design portfolios with focus on craft quality, systems thinking, and user-centered approaches; and partnering closely with recruiters and design leaders to calibrate candidate profiles and pipeline priorities.
You'll track sourcing metrics such as response rates, pipeline conversion, and diversity indicators to continuously optimize strategy. Additional duties include maintaining accurate candidate data in recruiting systems, supporting employer branding efforts within the design community through social engagement and events, and contributing to improvements in sourcing processes and inclusive hiring practices.
Required qualifications include proven experience sourcing or recruiting for design roles; strong sourcing expertise with AI tools and platforms like LinkedIn; ability to understand and evaluate design portfolios and craft quality; excellent written and verbal communication for personalized engagement; data-driven mindset for analyzing performance; strong collaboration and stakeholder partnership skills; and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Bonus experience includes building design pipelines across multiple geographies (US, Canada, LATAM) and familiarity with design community platforms.
The role is hybrid, based in the New York office with a minimum of three coordinated days in-office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), plus up to four weeks annually of fully remote work.
