Sundays for Dogs is a founder-led, direct-to-consumer pet food brand reimagining how dog owners feed their pets with human-grade, air-dried dog food. The company is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with a distributed team of ~50 full-time employees across the U.S. The business operates 100% DTC with a subscription model at its core, and the team comes together quarterly in person.
You will own forecasting, inventory management, and cross-functional supply chain planning as a Senior Demand Planner reporting directly to the Director of Procurement. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across all SKUs, incorporating historical data, sales trends, seasonality, and promotional plans
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, facilitating cross-functional alignment between supply chain, marketing, finance, and leadership
- Monitor inventory levels, ingredient lead times, and production schedules to prevent stockouts or overstock situations
- Partner closely with co-manufacturing partners to ensure on-time delivery and flag supply risks early
- Provide scenario modeling and risk assessments to inform purchase order timing and quantity decisions
- Track and review COGS monthly and provide updates to management
- Translate forecast insights into actionable supply chain strategies that directly influence PO placement and production planning
