Swile is a fintech and employee benefits platform serving 5.5+ million users across 85,000 companies in France and Brazil. The Data Platform team is an enablement function that builds tools, standards, and infrastructure to help engineering teams own their data autonomously.
As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will design and improve the platforms and tools that empower engineering teams to build and run their own data pipelines. You'll ship AI tooling (Skills, MCP) to help teams design, build, and run data products. Your work spans batch processing (Airflow, dbt) and event-driven architecture (Kafka), with responsibility for defining, documenting, and promoting standards and best practices across the organization.
You will help teams adopt platform tools and practices, grow their skills, and evangelize the platform vision across France and Brazil. This is a senior individual contributor role with direct impact on how multiple teams work at Swile, working at the intersection of data, software engineering, and infrastructure.
The team values both entrepreneurial and established-organization backgrounds. Platform, infrastructure, and software engineering experience is equally valued as pure data engineering expertise. You'll work with engineers who understand both user needs and code.

- Experience with some of: Python, Ruby, Airflow, Kafka, Snowflake, dbt, Terraform
- Autonomous, clear communicator, collaborative, supportive of other teams
- Curious about new tools and practices, including AI (no expertise required)
