Tricentis, a software quality assurance company with 1500+ employees across 20+ global offices, is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join its Security Operations team. This role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic leadership in a cloud-first environment.
You will design, implement, and continuously improve security controls, detection capabilities, and automation across AWS and Azure environments. You'll serve as a subject matter expert on cloud security architecture, driving secure design principles and best practices across the organization. Key responsibilities include leading security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis for cloud infrastructure, applications, and third-party SaaS platforms; developing and enhancing cloud security monitoring, detection engineering, and incident response capabilities; and partnering with Engineering, DevOps, IT, and Product teams to integrate security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
You will identify opportunities to automate security processes and drive scalable, sustainable solutions, lead remediation efforts for security findings, and provide technical guidance to stakeholders. Additionally, you'll mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of security standards, policies, and operational processes, while staying current on emerging threats and proactively recommending improvements.
