Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology. As a Senior Applied Value Engineer specializing in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), you will work with strategic customers to solve business-critical problems by building innovative solutions on Celonis' Process Intelligence platform combined with leading AI/ML technologies from Microsoft, OpenAI, and Databricks. You will own the full lifecycle of high-impact engagements: discovering customer AI strategies and business challenges, translating requirements into solutions, prototyping in customer hackathons, and executing proof-of-value projects end-to-end. Your focus will be on enabling customers to achieve real ROI from AI deployments at scale, shifting from traditional rule-based automation to autonomous AI agents powered by Process Intelligence. Key responsibilities include AI discovery and solutioning, building creative prototypes using cutting-edge AI technologies, supporting agentic process transformation, and delivering secure, scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG, tools, and guardrails. You will specialize in Energy, Oil & Gas industry domains and stay involved with projects until agreed value and adoption thresholds are reached. You bring 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, including defining AI roadmaps, building ROI/TCO business cases, and prototyping ML and generative AI solutions. Energy, Oil & Gas industry experience is required. You have deep understanding of generative AI techniques (RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration), business processes across sectors, and hands-on Python and ML libraries (LangChain, pandas, sklearn, PyTorch). Strong presentation skills to executives and stakeholders are essential. Bachelor's degree required; Master's in computer science, engineering, or mathematics preferred.
