Snowflake's Solution Engineering organization is seeking a Senior AI/ML Architect to serve as the technical expert in designing and architecting AI solutions built on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. This strategic role works closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and the broader field organization to drive successful customer adoption of Snowflake's AI and ML capabilities.
In this role, you will:
- Position Snowflake's AI and ML features and value to technical stakeholders and data scientists at customer organizations across the Americas
- Partner with account teams and customer champions to scope and execute proof-of-concepts that demonstrate technical wins and business value
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence Snowflake's AI and ML roadmaps based on customer feedback and real-world use cases
- Create and publish technical content including blog posts, conference presentations, notebooks, and demos to scale impact beyond individual efforts
- Develop, influence, and maintain Sales Engineering AI and ML assets including customer presentations, demonstrations, and case studies
You will work with technical decision makers and data scientists to architect solutions, provide hands-on expertise, and ensure successful execution. This is an opportunity to help redefine how enterprises operationalize AI at scale on a modern cloud data platform.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud
- Familiarity with generative AI techniques including RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning for enterprise use cases like interactive chat applications and text processing
- Deep knowledge of Python and common ML packages (LangChain, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch)
- Experience with data engineering tools and technologies (dbt, Airflow, Spark)
- Strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, including whiteboarding and formal demos
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field preferred
BONUS EXPERIENCE:
- Working knowledge of LLM ecosystem tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar open-source packages)
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP)
- 1+ years of practical Snowflake experience
- Knowledge of large-scale database technology (Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum)
