DocPlanner is a healthcare platform operating in 13 countries, trusted by 90+ million patients and 300k+ specialists. The company is scaling an APEX-first Salesforce platform across multiple countries and business lines. As a Salesforce Developer, you'll design and build scalable Salesforce solutions powering the Customer Support/Success and Customer Experience ecosystem.
You will design and implement scalable APEX solutions using domain/service/selector patterns, one-trigger-per-object architecture, bulkified and governor-safe code. You'll develop and enhance Service Cloud capabilities including complex case management, entitlements, milestones, routing, and customer service automation. You'll build and customize Experience Cloud sites for customer and partner self-service experiences, and implement Digital Engagement capabilities including Chat, Messaging, WhatsApp, SMS, Facebook Messenger, and other communication channels.
Key responsibilities include building and enhancing bots and AI-powered customer service automations integrated with Apex, Flows, and external systems; designing and developing secure Apex REST APIs, callouts with Named Credentials, Platform Events, and async Apex patterns; developing Apex services consumed by Lightning Web Components, Experience Cloud, Flows, and AI Agents; optimizing SOQL/SOSL queries for high-performance large-volume operations; and creating invocable Apex to extend Flows and bot conversations.
You'll proactively participate in solution design, collaborate in design reviews with Architects on security and scalability, partner with DevOps on CI/CD using Git and SFDX/DevOps Center, support UAT and troubleshoot incidents, and document technical decisions. You'll also customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and configure automations including Flows, approval processes, and Omni-Channel routing. The role emphasizes maintaining Salesforce security, optimizing existing implementations to reduce technical debt, and contributing to overall Salesforce architecture strategy.
Success means features meeting acceptance criteria and passing UAT on first attempt, delivering scalable customer service solutions across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, improving customer self-service adoption through AI-powered support, building reliable conversational experiences that reduce agent workload, achieving zero governor-limit regressions with excellent runtime performance, maintaining healthy pull request metrics with small well-reviewed changes, and reducing defect rates.
