Salary: USD 170,000 - 260,000 / annual

As Robotic Systems Integration Manager, you will lead a high-performance, multi-disciplinary engineering team responsible for the system integration across Formlabs' entire product portfolio. Your team will define and integrate sensors and actuators, maintain prototype fleets, develop control algorithms and systems, and deliver embedded firmware for physical systems. Key responsibilities include: - Leading the System Integration team by example with a hands-on approach to technology development, balancing customer value, cost, and engineering effort - Making high-level architecture decisions around sensing technologies, actuators, control algorithms, calibration techniques, and firmware architecture across all products - Researching external products and new technologies to ensure Formlabs continues using state-of-the-art algorithms and sensing - Deploying resources across programs, prioritizing assignments, and hiring top-level engineers to build a balanced and dynamic team Formlabs products span electronics, motion control, sensing technologies, machine vision, optics, material science, embedded firmware, and PC software. The System Integration team serves as the connective tissue, ensuring all technologies work in concert from prototype to final product reliability. Requirements: - Expert-level knowledge of control algorithms, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems for complex, high-precision products - Proven ability to lead and grow high-performance engineering teams - Track record of developing successful products in fast-paced environments - Hands-on contributor actively involved in daily activities and technical decisions of your team - Refined instinct for balancing performance with complexity; ability to prioritize what work to do and what not to do
