AnySignal is developing next-generation RF products and services for demanding space and defense missions. We're building a flexible, high-performance platform for advanced radio technologies.
You will own RF tests from planning through final data analysis. This is a hands-on role bridging bench hardware and code. You'll work with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNAs), and similar instruments, alongside automated test code you help create.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hardware design engineers to translate product requirements into comprehensive test plans and procedures
- Execute tests, record data, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
- Perform lab equipment work for new hardware bring-up and conduct root cause analyses on failing hardware
- Write Python code to contribute to the existing automated test framework
- Manage test equipment inventory, ensuring all instruments are properly calibrated and maintained
You'll move fluidly between bench work and software, taking ownership of test strategy and execution. This role offers the opportunity to shape how a growing company builds and verifies RF products.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience building, analyzing, and deploying RF test systems
- Hands-on bench experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers
- Deep, practical knowledge of RF measurements including linearity, noise spectral density (NSD), and error vector magnitude (EVM)
PREFERRED:
- Python experience for controlling test equipment
- Working knowledge of RF and mixed-signal components (amplifiers, filters, data converters, antennas)
- Familiarity with environmental testing (vibration, thermal cycling, thermal vacuum)
- Knowledge of testing standards such as SMC-S-016 and MIL-STD-461G
