You will join as a QA Automation Engineer (SDET) responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and test suites that enhance product reliability and delivery speed. You will lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle, combining automated and manual validation techniques to test complex healthcare applications, identify defects, analyze data patterns, and ensure secure, compliant software.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks, pipelines, and automated tests (unit, API, integration, end-to-end)
- Write and execute automated and manual tests; analyze logs, metrics, and defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data, Scrum) to refine requirements and testing strategies
- Document frameworks, test cases, and reporting metrics
- Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery of quality software
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Ensure software compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results
You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting innovation in healthcare technology, with flexibility to work from Atlanta, New York, or remotely.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on proven experience in software QA with focus on writing automation test cases, preferably in health tech industry
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks
- Basic SQL skills for database validation and troubleshooting
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision
- Preferred: Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR)
