In this Product Engineer role, you will build AI agents and automations that directly improve claims handling workflows. You'll work end-to-end from discovery through production deployment, collaborating closely with claims handlers to identify real bottlenecks and ship solutions that are actually used daily. Unlike many engineers who wait years before their AI systems touch production, you'll deploy real agents handling real claims from day one.
Key responsibilities include:
- Discovering automation opportunities by working directly with users and observing where processes break down
- Building full-stack AI agents that are deployed into production and handling real claims work
- Owning the risk and reliability of shipped systems, working with AI engineers and ops teams to ensure bulletproof deployments
- Pushing systems further as they scale, balancing speed with correctness
- Taking features from idea to production without waiting for external blockers

REQUIREMENTS:
- Comfortable working directly with users to identify real opportunities; you don't wait for specs
- Genuine understanding of agentic AI systems and how to design AI that takes real actions
- Fast, capable full-stack builder able to move features from idea to production independently
- Obsessive about correctness and risk; you think through failure modes and edge cases
- Background in product engineering, AI/ML teams shipping real features, or startups with end-to-end ownership preferred over years of resume experience
