Salary: USD 161,803 - 198,000 / annual
AcuityMD is seeking a Product Designer to join their team in Boston or remote (US-based). This role focuses on designing data-driven user experiences for a B2B SaaS platform serving the healthcare and medical device industries.
You will work with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, data, and commercial teams to deliver excellent customer experiences. Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct user research, surveys, and interviews to understand customer pain points, goals, and usability concerns within healthcare systems
- Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable product requirements and design specifications
- Design interactive data visualizations (tables, charts, graphs, dashboards) that help sales representatives and healthcare organizations identify relevant patient populations and treatment patterns
- Create workflow-based enterprise applications and user interfaces for B2B SaaS platforms
- Apply customer and platform data to inform UX decisions, including user journey mapping and behavioral analysis
- Translate research findings into detailed design specifications for engineering teams, including interaction design and visual system requirements
- Provide strategic, data-driven insights to support sales and operational efficiency in healthcare settings
- Design software products that handle sensitive healthcare data within highly regulated compliance environments
The role emphasizes understanding complex healthcare workflows, compliance constraints, and the ability to balance commercial objectives with user experience excellence.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in product design or related field
- 3+ years conducting qualitative and quantitative user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
- 4+ years collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile/iterative product development
- 3+ years designing data-driven UX for B2B SaaS platforms, including enterprise workflow applications
- 3+ years creating interactive data visualizations for analytical and operational use cases
- 3+ years applying customer and platform data to inform UX and product design decisions
- 3+ years translating research findings into product design specifications for engineering teams
- 2+ years designing software products handling sensitive data in highly regulated industries with understanding of compliance constraints
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
