FlixBus is seeking a hands-on Process Automation Developer to join the Global Accounting Process Excellence team in Gurugram. This is a first-direct-report role to the lead of the Digital Process Automation function, working at the intersection of finance operations and cutting-edge technology. You will build real automation solutions—Python scripts, RPA workflows, AI agents—that save global accounting teams (based in Germany, Sofia, Mexico) hours of manual work weekly. You'll work directly with accounting stakeholders across multiple regions to understand pain points and translate them into automated, AI-enabled solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Build and deploy practical automations using Python, n8n, UiPath, and approved AI technologies, including workflow logic, system integrations, and exception handling - Develop AI-enabled features using LLM services (Claude or equivalent), structured outputs, tool calling, and agent workflows with measurable business value - Create data processing pipelines using Python and SQL for reconciliations, validations, data transformations, and operational controls - Integrate enterprise systems via REST APIs, JSON, databases, and connectors to automate end-to-end processes (e.g., Oracle Fusion) - Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code to accelerate prototyping, testing, and deployment - Own production readiness: implement testing, access management, error handling, logging, and audit trails - Maintain and improve delivered solutions; coordinate with platform, security, and tech teams as needed - Translate business requirements to technical solutions independently You'll be a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership end-to-end, and is excited to build something from the ground up. The role offers hybrid flexibility with an office-first model, work-from-anywhere options (up to 60 days/year), and exposure to enterprise finance automation at scale. Requirements: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation, technical business analysis, or solution delivery - Strong, production-ready Python skills; experience building maintainable, robust applications (not just one-off scripts) - Practical hands-on experience with at least one workflow or RPA tool (UiPath, n8n, or equivalent) - Experience building reliable system integrations using REST APIs, including authentication, data exchange, error handling, and troubleshooting - Practical AI/LLM exposure: you've actually built something using an AI tool, agent, or LLM framework - Independent delivery mindset; fluent English; comfortable working in Central European business hours Strong Advantages: - Finance and enterprise platform knowledge (GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, invoice processing; Oracle Fusion, Snowflake, Power BI) - Familiarity with LangChain, Mastra agentic AI frameworks, MCP - Cloud deployment (AWS/Azure), containerization, or CI/CD experience - Engineering/CS degree with certifications in Data Science, AI, or RPA (e.g., UiPath Developer Certification)
