Bybit is a leading cryptocurrency exchange and digital financial platform established in 2018, serving over 80 million users across 200+ countries. The company operates a seamless ecosystem spanning trading, payments, wealth management, custody, institutional services, and Web3.
You will join the blockchain engineering team as a Principal/Lead Blockchain Development Engineer, working on critical infrastructure that powers Bybit's digital asset operations. This is a senior technical role focused on blockchain integration and custody systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the integration of new blockchain networks to support deposit and withdrawal operations for exchanges and Web3 platforms
- Participate in the development of custody business requirements and systems
- Engage in business requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, and deployment; deliver high-quality engineering work
- Write technical and system documentation to ensure code maintainability and team collaboration efficiency
You will work on distributed systems at scale, collaborating with product and business teams to shape the technical direction of blockchain infrastructure.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Java development experience in a computer science or related field
- Solid Java fundamentals, good coding practices, and strong programming skills; familiar with mainstream open-source frameworks and components with solid depth of understanding
- Proficient with everyday tools including Git, Maven, and Linux
- Familiar with distributed system design; proficient with mainstream middleware including MySQL, Redis, and MQ (e.g., Kafka)
- Strong sense of responsibility, clear logical thinking, curious and research-oriented mindset, strong learning ability, and collaborative team spirit
