Cloudflare is seeking an Oracle Operations Manager to lead enterprise program execution and operations across the Oracle IT ecosystem. This hybrid role, based in Austin, TX, sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, managing large-scale, multi-quarter initiatives that span IT, business verticals, and technical operations teams.
You will serve as a bridge across Oracle business units, ensuring programs and projects are planned, developed, and deployed with quality and on-time delivery. Key responsibilities include driving execution of cross-functional initiatives, building transparent communication channels with enterprise stakeholders and vendors, managing program scope and timelines, and proactively identifying and resolving risks and blockers. You'll collaborate on internal processes, tools, and workflows to support IT governance and standardized project management methodologies.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of program and project management experience, with at least 3 years leading complex enterprise-wide initiatives. You need a strong technical background in cloud operations and Oracle environments, proficiency in solutions serving global Finance and enterprise capabilities, and a proven track record delivering technical programs end-to-end from conception through usability. You should be comfortable working independently in dynamic, high-pressure environments with ambiguous requirements, balancing people, organizational, and technical skills to guide decision-making without direct authority. Proficiency with project management tools (Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheets) and methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum) is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with executive audiences, are required. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is expected.
