Salary: USD 106,000 - 138,000 / annual
Agility Robotics is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to join its mechanical engineering team in the San Francisco Bay Area (Fremont, CA) or Salem, OR facility. The company designs and deploys commercially-proven humanoid robots that operate in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers, performing physically demanding and repetitive tasks while enhancing worker productivity.
In this role, you will work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure well-documented, production-ready robot designs for the next generation of Digit. You will be responsible for creating and managing Creo CAD models and detailed drafting to Agility standards, including sourcing off-the-shelf component models, integrating them into assemblies, and updating CAD based on engineering analysis. You will manage CAD libraries and templates, handle CAD data management in Windchill (including BOM creation and promotion requests), identify OTS components meeting engineering specifications, and support cross-functional design reviews through CAD renderings and presentation materials.
The mechanical engineering team is agile and rapidly growing, composed of engineers from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. You will play a key role in delivering advanced, reliable designs that meet complex customer requirements and support fleet deployment managers.
Requirements:
- Expert proficiency in Creo, including top-down modeling, drafting, and library management
- Expert proficiency in Windchill, including promotion requests, file management, and BOM management
- Fluent in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) application to mechanical parts and assemblies
- Expert knowledge in several manufacturing processes: sheet metal, machining, casting, and/or injection molding
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience
- Ability to be on-site at Agility's design facility as needed (minimum 4 days per month and as required for design activities, reviews, prototype testing)

- Tolerance analysis experience
- Windchill PDM Administration experience
- Jira/Confluence experience
- A.S. in Electro/Mechanical Design Drafting
- Altium CoDesigner experience (bonus)
