Salary: CAD 218,420 - 273,360 / annual

You will join the engineering team as an Infrastructure Engineer, supporting internal business units through shared engineering services and infrastructure capabilities. You'll own end-to-end projects that empower internal customer-facing teams and drive business decisions through data and observability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, test, and document core infrastructure components
- Exhibit ownership over running services by building for observability, participating in incident response, and handling customer support escalations
- Improve observability through metrics, alerting, logging, and telemetry integration
- Identify and build improvements for continuous deployment pipelines
- Utilize infrastructure as code to make changes in cloud environments
- Collaborate with other engineering teams on cross-functional infrastructure improvements
- Automate upgrades for managed services and VMs
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources
You'll work asynchronously across a fully remote, early-stage company with highly technical teams. The role requires strong motivation, the ability to think on your feet, and comfort with distributed collaboration.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with CI/CD, secrets management, infrastructure as code, and observability
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience operating managed services in a cloud environment (preferably AWS)
- Production Kubernetes experience is a strong plus
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routing, etc.)
- Go programming language experience is a plus (most non-front-end systems are developed in Go)
- Ability to give and process constructive feedback and work independently
- Flexibility to adapt to startup dynamics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
