ClaimSorted is transforming insurance claims and risk management for the world's largest insurers and Fortune 500 companies. Backed by Y Combinator, Atomico, and Eurazeo, the company has grown 10x in the past year and is building a platform that helps people and businesses recover when things go wrong.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will own the secure, reliable foundation that powers ClaimSorted's platform. Your responsibilities include:
**Security & Compliance**: Close security gaps before they become incidents. Own access controls, PII protection, and compliance end-to-end for a company handling real claims data from the world's largest insurers. This is production security work with real stakes, not theoretical exercises.
**Infrastructure Standardization**: Bring consistency across the technical stack. Build observability to see what's actually happening in production. Drive measurable improvements in reliability, latency, and cost as the company scales.
**Data Infrastructure & Analytics**: Build self-service analytics infrastructure that empowers claims and operations teams to answer their own questions without filing engineering tickets and waiting days for answers. Enable accurate, accessible data pipelines.
You will work in a tight-knit, office-based team in London that genuinely enjoys building together. The role involves owning ambiguity and helping define what "good" looks like as the company scales.
**Requirements**:
- Deep expertise in security (access controls, PII protection, compliance) or infrastructure (reliability, observability, database performance, data pipelines) from real production experience
- Proven track record owning unglamorous, foundational work that everything else depends on
- Ability to drive standards and hold teams accountable, including having uncomfortable conversations
- Comfort with ambiguity and ownership of undefined problems
- The company values hunger and grit over years on a resume; platform, security, or data infrastructure background preferred but not required
