As a Hardware System Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize high-performance distributed systems, core data engines, and backend infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities include qualifying hardware components such as servers, JBOFs (Just a Bunch of Flash), SSDs, network cards, switches, and optical transceivers. You will write requirement documents for new features, collaborate with vendors on implementation and debugging, and transfer technical knowledge to internal teams including software developers, QA, support, and manufacturing. You will become the subject matter expert for specific hardware platforms and technologies, playing a critical role in ensuring hardware-software integration and performance optimization.
