Gorgias is building a unified AI agent platform for conversational commerce—enabling brands to sell, support, and re-engage customers through intelligent dialogue. The GTM Engineer role sits within the GTM Engineering team, which builds the AI product layer powering Gorgias's internal go-to-market workflows across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships. You will own the AI agents that automate GTM processes, taking workflows from manual execution to reviewed, production-ready agents. The role bridges technical depth with business impact: you'll ship working agents quickly, debug broken workflows across tools like Cargo and HubSpot independently, and ensure the business actually adopts what you build. Key responsibilities include: - Building and improving end-to-end GTM workflows by navigating the context layer (Cortex), app/service repositories, MCPs, and automation tools. - Designing custom agents and reusable agent skills on Cortex and custom builds when needed. - Owning agents for lead and account workflows: outbound reply handling, audience/call-list building, enrichment, event follow-up, and referral routing. - Mapping the Sales and Marketing workflow backlog, deciding whether each should be an agent, automation, or manual process, then delivering with reviewable outputs. - Tuning live agents by adjusting prompts, analyzing conversation and performance data, fixing regressions, and documenting edge cases. - Debugging broken workflows across Cargo, HubSpot, Customer.io, and other GTM tools to identify and fix root causes. - Connecting agents to systems via APIs and workflows (n8n, Clay, custom code) with centralized credential management. - Supporting Sales (BDRs, AEs) and CS teams in adopting agents: learning their workflows, co-designing flows, and training them to supervise outputs. - Collaborating with other GTM Engineers (cockpit, data, systems) to ensure agents run on clean CRM data. You'll spend most of your time in AI coding harnesses (Claude Code, Conductor, or similar), building production automations rather than experimenting casually. Strong business judgment is essential—knowing when an agent should draft versus act autonomously. You take ownership of workflows from conception to live deployment and flag issues early. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years in a technical GTM, RevOps, or growth engineering role with production automations you can demonstrate. - Passion for AI and hands-on experience with LLM applications: prompt design, tool/function calling, and output quality review. Custom agent-building experience is a plus. - Solid SQL and Python or JavaScript; comfortable with REST APIs. - Working knowledge of outbound or engagement tools (Cargo, Dust, Apollo, Lemlist, Instantly, Customer.io, or similar). - Familiarity with modern data stack tools (BigQuery, dbt, Segment, Airbyte, Hightouch) is a plus. - Experience with n8n, Clay, or similar automation platforms is a plus. - Good business judgment and ownership mindset. - Fluent English; French is a plus for the Paris team.
