Gorgias is building a unified AI agent platform for conversational commerce—enabling brands to sell, support, and re-engage customers through intelligent dialogue across the entire customer journey.
You'll join the GTM Engineers team, which builds the AI product layer powering Gorgias's go-to-market workflows. This team owns AI agents, internal cockpits, and automations running on a shared context layer called Cortex, working across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships.
In this role, you'll own the AI agents that run Gorgias's GTM workflows, taking them from manual process to reviewed agent execution. You'll optimize GTM work without sacrificing quality, ship working agents quickly, debug broken workflows in tools like Cargo and HubSpot independently, and ensure the business actually uses what you build.
Key responsibilities:
- Navigate between the context layer, app/service repositories, MCPs, and automation tools to build and improve end-to-end GTM workflows.
- Build custom agents and reusable agent skills on Cortex and custom builds when needed.
- Build and maintain agents for lead and account work: outbound reply handling, audience and call-list building, enrichment, event follow-up, and referral routing.
- Map the Sales and Marketing workflow backlog, decide Agent vs. Automation vs. Manual for each workflow, and deliver with reviewable output.
- Improve live agents by tuning prompts and skills, reading conversation and performance data, fixing regressions, and documenting edge cases.
- Debug broken workflows across Cargo, HubSpot, Customer.io, and other GTM tools; fix root causes.
- Connect agents to systems through APIs and workflows (n8n, Clay, custom code) with centrally managed credentials.
- Help Sales (BDRs, AEs) and CS adopt agents: learn their daily work, design flows, and train them to supervise outputs.
- Collaborate with other GTM Engineers to ensure agents run on clean CRM data.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in a technical GTM, RevOps, or growth engineering role with production automations you can demonstrate.
- Passionate about AI; Claude Code, Conductor, or similar AI coding harnesses are your primary building tools.
- Hands-on with LLM applications: prompt design, tool/function calling, and output quality review. Custom agent-building experience is a plus.
- Solid SQL and Python or JavaScript; comfortable with REST APIs.
- Working knowledge of outbound or engagement tools (Cargo, Dust, Apollo, Lemlist, Instantly, Customer.io, or similar).
- Familiarity with modern data stack (BigQuery, dbt, Segment, Airbyte, Hightouch) is a plus.
- Experience with n8n, Clay, or similar automation tools is a plus.
- Good business judgment: know when an agent should draft vs. act.
- Ownership mindset: take workflows from idea to live agent and flag breakages early.
- Fluent English; French is a plus for the Paris team.
