Forus is an AI-powered network connecting doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma companies to accelerate new medicines to patients. The platform automates insurance coverage, financial assistance, and supply chain navigation, operating free for doctors and patients while enabling biopharma to design better research and launch drugs more effectively. As Forus's first GTM Engineer, you will build AI-powered systems to scale the company's go-to-market motion without proportionally scaling headcount. This is a 0-to-1 role where you will define what GTM Engineering means at the company. You will partner with growth teams to identify where AI and automation can move key metrics. Your responsibilities include: - Building systems for provider research, enrichment, scoring, routing, personalization, and sales rep productivity - Selecting appropriate tools for each problem: Clay, n8n, LLMs, APIs, or custom Python/JavaScript - Integrating the CRM, data warehouse, internal systems, and third-party tools into unified workflows - Taking projects from prototype through rollout, training, and iteration based on user feedback - Measuring accuracy, adoption, and business impact; retiring underperforming initiatives - Evaluating emerging tools and models for operational integration The role demands high autonomy, ownership mentality, and comfort with ambiguity. You will work in a high-trust environment with clear communication expected across technical and non-technical stakeholders, from individual contributors to leadership. Forus has raised $300M+, supports patients across 85%+ of US ZIP codes, and partners with 9 of the top 15 largest biopharma companies. The company operates from a SoHo office with a full in-person team. QUALIFICATIONS: - Shipped internal tools, automations, or AI-powered systems that measurably changed how a team works - Built with code or AI-assisted development; moved data across systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms (vibe coding acceptable—shipped work matters more than credentials) - Hands-on experience with LLMs and agents, with judgment about reliability for team-facing deployment - Resourcefulness in ambiguous situations with no established playbook - Clear communication with both technical and non-technical teammates across all levels - Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver - High NPS with former teammates Note: The posting emphasizes that not meeting every qualification should not deter applications, particularly from underrepresented backgrounds.
