EGYM, a global fitness technology leader, is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join their Berlin-based online services team. You will be involved in all phases of the product lifecycle, working on end-to-end product development that combines backend expertise with frontend application improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving development of customer-facing features from conception through user experience testing to implementation
- Implementing new software projects using microservices architecture to provide APIs
- Writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code following best software development practices
- Creating web-based user interfaces and tools while helping build the frontend tech stack
- Designing and maintaining scalable mobile web applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Container Engine
You will work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of your work, understanding its architecture, and delivering on product requirements while improving testability and functionality. Over your first six months, you'll become familiar with the EGYM ecosystem, the software engineering department structure, and the company culture.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience with ability to write clean and effective code
- Proficiency in writing code in both Golang and Java
- Frontend development experience (TypeScript, React, and Ionic preferred)
- Deep understanding of cloud application requirements, Event-Driven Architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with technologies including Spring, gRPC, GCP, and Linux
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments and adapting to new information
- Fluency in English (CV, salary expectations, and earliest start date required for application)
