You'll join the engineering team as a Full Stack Cloud Engineer, moving confidently across the entire stack: React frontend, Rust and Node.js backend, and multi-account AWS infrastructure. While some roles lean backend (APIs, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure) and others lean frontend (customer-facing interfaces), the expectation is genuine full-stack capability—owning features end to end and working across the stack as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
**Building & Shipping**
- Operate within a Nix-backed ecosystem for development tooling and build artifacts
- Own features end to end, from concept through shipped, tested, monitored production software
- Build and maintain React frontend features and backend services in TypeScript/Node.js and Rust, backed by multi-account AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, EKS, etc.)
- Write infrastructure as code using AWS CDK for systems you build
**Team & Growth**
- Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback
- Contribute to sprint planning, story breakdown, and demos
- Design systems and data pipelines from scratch, mentor other engineers, author RFCs and architecture decisions, and help set technical standards
You'll thrive here with a pragmatic, get-it-done mindset, strong instincts for testing and clean design, and the ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders. The team values engineers who've seen multiple approaches and bring that perspective to challenge existing practices.
**Requirements**
- At least three years of professional experience since graduating from a relevant Master's program
- Solid, hands-on full-stack experience: frontend (React or equivalent) and backend (Rust/Node.js or equivalent), even with a natural preference for one side
- Comfort working with AWS or another major cloud provider
- Track record of shipping features independently with good instincts for testing, code quality, and clean design
- Strong communication skills: ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to engineers and non-technical audiences; strong English fluency
- Experience designing systems from scratch, mentoring engineers, or driving architecture decisions
- Legal right to live and work in Denmark (relocation support available for the right candidate)
