As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be embedded with ElevenLabs' most strategic customers, taking full ownership of end-to-end execution of major projects. You'll work hands-on designing and building tailored solutions that directly impact high-stakes initiatives. Your role bridges engineering and customer success, requiring you to collaborate daily with customer engineering and executive teams to ensure optimal use of ElevenLabs' AI audio technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking full ownership of complex, high-impact technical projects for strategic partners
- Designing technical architectures and product features in collaboration with customers
- Building full-scale integrations and solutions from conception to deployment
- Translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Driving innovation through hands-on coding and problem-solving
You'll need proficiency in Python and strong software development fundamentals including architecture design and API integration. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, particularly the ability to distill complex technical knowledge and pursue optimal solutions through logical reasoning. Customer-facing experience is valued—this could include work with customers in student clubs or side projects, as long as you're genuinely interested in technical customer collaboration.
The role is remote-first and can be executed from anywhere in Canada, though there is a strong preference for Berlin-based candidates. Fluency in both English and German with deep understanding of regional and cultural nuances is required. ElevenLabs operates with high velocity, minimal bureaucracy, and an AI-first mindset across the organization.
