Jeeves is a stablecoin-native banking platform for global enterprises, processing over $5B in annualized volume across 35 countries with payouts to 190 countries. The company has raised over $400M from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, and Coinbase Ventures.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between Jeeves and its most complex enterprise customers across Latin America. This is a hands-on engineering role that combines production coding with direct customer engagement at the CFO and Controller level—not a pre-sales or pure support function.
You will own the technical path to go-live for strategic accounts, working across multiple dimensions:
**Customer Integrations:** Build and ship integrations between Jeeves and customer ERPs and accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, TOTVS, local tools) using APIs and webhooks. Map customer data models (chart of accounts, cost centers, entities, vendors) to Jeeves and keep them in sync. Debug integration issues end-to-end from API logs through month-end reconciliation. Build reusable integration patterns and internal tools to accelerate future customer launches.
**Payments, Treasury & Local Compliance:** Scope and configure multi-entity, multi-currency setups with customer finance teams. Design stablecoin payment and settlement flows alongside traditional rails (SPEI, PIX, ACH, SWIFT). Help customers navigate country-specific requirements such as CFDI (Mexico), NF-e (Brazil), and DIAN e-invoicing (Colombia). Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure customer setups remain within regulatory guardrails.
**Technical Ownership of Strategic Accounts:** Own the technical side of onboarding from initial scoping through go-live and adoption. Run technical workshops with customer engineering and finance teams, sometimes on-site. Write implementation plans, set timeline expectations, and flag risks early. Serve as the trusted technical escalation point post-go-live for expansions.
**Product Feedback & Sales Partnership:** Translate repeated customer requests into prioritized input for Product and Engineering teams. Partner with Sales and Account Management on technical discovery, solution design, and proofs of concept for large deals. Document field learnings (integration guides, edge cases, playbooks) for team-wide benefit.
The role is based in Mexico City with flexible hybrid arrangements; travel to customer sites across Latin America is required.
**Requirements:**
- 4+ years of professional software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical implementation experience, including at least 2 years in customer-facing technical work
- Strong hands-on coding in Python, TypeScript/Node, or Go, with production experience building against REST APIs and webhooks
- Solid SQL and data-mapping skills demonstrated through integrations or data pipelines you have built and supported
- Track record of owning a customer project through to go-live, including timeline and stakeholder management
- Professional fluency in English plus Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Ability to travel to customer sites in Latin America as needed
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Fintech or payments experience, especially card issuing, payment rails (SPEI, PIX, ACH, SWIFT), or cross-border money movement
- Experience integrating with ERP, accounting, or financial systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, TOTVS, QuickBooks, Xero)
- Working understanding of finance team operations: AP, reconciliation, month-end close, multi-entity accounting
- Hands-on work with stablecoin, on/off-ramp, or digital asset infrastructure
- Experience with LatAm e-invoicing and tax systems (CFDI, NF-e, DIAN)
- Previous forward deployed, solutions architect, or implementation engineer role at a startup
- Experience building internal tooling that shortened implementation time
