As a Forward Deployed Engineer at F5, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer success from deal closure through implementation and beyond. You'll lead technical onboarding and implementation efforts for enterprise customers, serving as their primary post-sales technical point of contact. Your responsibilities include developing and executing structured implementation plans to achieve rapid time-to-value, proactively identifying and managing risks such as blockers or skill gaps, and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Services, and Product teams to ensure smooth handoffs and knowledge sharing.
You'll own the post-sales technical relationship, coordinating support needs, triaging technical issues, and ensuring efficient collaboration between customer teams and internal support/development teams. A key part of your role is documenting repeatable processes, technical guides, implementation templates, and internal runbooks to scale the customer success function. You'll also act as a customer advocate, gathering feedback and insights to inform product roadmap decisions and future service offerings.
