Braze, a leading customer engagement platform, is seeking a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant to support the General Counsel and broader Legal team. Based in São Paulo with the General Counsel in California, this role requires overlap with U.S. Pacific business hours.
Key responsibilities include managing calendars and scheduling across multiple time zones for the General Counsel and legal staff; supporting the General Counsel's Corporate Secretary duties, including Board and committee meeting logistics, material distribution, and corporate records maintenance; handling travel booking and expense reporting; tracking deliverables and deadlines across the Legal team's functional areas; planning and coordinating departmental events and all-hands meetings; managing unscheduled requests with attention to detail; preparing and formatting confidential documents; and assisting with project coordination, new hire onboarding, and other team duties as needed.
This position sits at the center of a public-company legal function with regular exposure to privileged, confidential, pre-public, and material non-public information. Discretion is a core requirement.
Ideal candidates bring strong experience supporting senior executives in fast-paced environments; fluent written and verbal English; proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information; experience leading projects and managing schedules; familiarity with productivity tools, project management platforms, and corporate travel/expense systems (e.g., Navan, Concur); exceptional organizational skills and personal accountability; and proven cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience supporting legal, compliance, or corporate secretary functions, and experience at publicly traded companies.
