Commure is building an AI Operating System for healthcare that spans the full care journey: ambient AI and dictation to eliminate documentation burden, intelligent agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims. The platform integrates with 60+ EHRs and is trusted by 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations handling $25B+ in annual claims.
As Engineering Manager for the Provider Pod, you will lead a full-stack team responsible for building AI-powered clinical experiences that clinicians trust with their most critical work. The Provider Pod owns the intelligence layer that lives inside the clinical workflow—spanning AI-powered documentation that transcribes patient visits and structures them into clinical notes in real time, a conversational clinical assistant grounded in live patient context and medical literature, and an extensible AI Skills Library of reusable agents and workflows. You also own core provider surfaces around charting, clinical coding, treatments, flowsheets, orders, labs, prescriptions, and the signed encounter that powers downstream billing.
You will lead and grow the team by recruiting, coaching, and developing high-performing full-stack engineers. You'll own product and engineering outcomes, driving the roadmap and execution across scribe documentation, the clinical assistant, reusable AI skills, and core provider workflows. You'll set technical direction across Python services, TypeScript/React experiences, data systems, and AI/LLM workflows. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, clinical experts, AI/ML, Data, Platform, and RCM teams to ship intuitive solutions for real clinical environments. You'll establish strong practices for planning, code quality, testing, deployment, and observability while keeping the team fast and pragmatic. You'll ensure provider-facing systems are reliable, secure, performant, and supported by effective on-call and incident response. You'll build a high-ownership culture by mentoring technical leaders and fostering strong judgment, customer empathy, healthy debate, and a bias toward action.
This is a hands-on leadership role on a fast-moving team that celebrates large ambition, ships daily, and makes decisions quickly. You'll work directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate.
