DTX Pharma, a Novartis Company, seeks a Director of Digital & IT AI Program Management Office (PMO) to lead strategic planning, governance, and delivery of complex AI and digital transformation programs in Hyderabad. This is a Band Level 6 role managing cross-functional, global project teams to execute initiatives on scope, budget, and quality.
Key responsibilities include: establishing and achieving program goals aligned with business objectives; developing comprehensive program plans with clear goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation; managing major program activities with accuracy and consistency; collaborating with business and technology stakeholders across the organization and with strategic suppliers; owning program status, issues, and risks through appropriate governance channels and steering committees; leading program team members (project managers, workstream leads) with thought leadership and methodological consistency; ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and HSE standards; and reporting on technical matters and adverse events within required timeframes.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of program, portfolio, or transformation management experience in large, complex organizations, with solid expertise leading enterprise-scale AI, digital, or data transformation programs. Strong background required at the intersection of business strategy, technology delivery, and governance. Must demonstrate ability to influence without direct authority across federated organizations, operate effectively in ambiguity, and shape new operating models. Exceptional senior stakeholder management and executive communication skills are essential. Solid knowledge of Agile, AI, NLP, and GenAI required. Understanding of AI-enablement of IT processes and experience navigating fast-evolving AI ecosystems, vendors, and platforms are critical.
Minimum qualification: university degree (Master's degree desirable). Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus. The role demands analytical thinking, business acumen, change management expertise, IT program management proficiency, project planning capability, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
