VAST Data is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its sales engineering operations team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is integrated with the sales team and focuses on developing software and infrastructure to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Sales Engineers in delivering VAST's AI data platform solutions to enterprise customers.
VAST Data is a data platform company for the AI era, building enterprise software infrastructure to capture, catalog, refine, enrich, and protect massive datasets for real-time analysis and AI training/inference. In this position, you will:
- Develop and improve internal toolsets that directly support Sales Engineers, enabling them to quickly demonstrate VAST value to customers
- Automate tasks involved in the VAST sales and delivery process
- Manage infrastructure supporting critical web-based applications
- Maintain infrastructure supporting Docker-based applications
- Develop and maintain internal and external-facing applications using technologies including Node.JS, Angular, SCSS, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, and AWS services (ECS, S3, ALB, EC2, SSM)
