AtScale is a semantic layer platform for modern data and AI, bridging complex cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery) with business users who need consistent, AI-ready analytics.
In this DevOps Engineer role, you will own infrastructure and operations across a multi-cloud environment. Key responsibilities include:
• Provision and manage test and development environments for engineering and QA, including on-demand environments
• Design and maintain site-to-site connectivity across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OVH, including VPN tunnels, routing, and DNS
• Build and deploy infrastructure across multiple cloud providers, including Proxmox-based virtualization
• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters using ArgoCD for GitOps-driven deployments
• Build, host, and maintain internal tools, services, and PostgreSQL databases
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to reduce build and deploy times
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Run observability on the Grafana stack and troubleshoot performance and availability issues
• Support internal authentication and SSO integrations (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2)
• Apply security best practices, support compliance efforts, and automate operational tasks
• Work closely with development, QA, and product teams

REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role
• BA/BS in a technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
• Strong networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, CIDR planning, routing, firewalls, DNS)
• Hands-on experience with site-to-site VPNs (IPsec or WireGuard) across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OVH)
• Strong Linux administration skills, including self-managed hosts and hypervisors (Proxmox, KVM, or similar)
• Deep Kubernetes experience (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed) with Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform proficiency
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions
• Solid programming ability in Python or Go to build internal services, paired with strong Bash scripting skills
• Working knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus-style monitoring, PostgreSQL databases, SSO integrations (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2), and system security best practices
• Must be based in or able to work East Coast (ET) hours
