Predikt is a Swiss-Belgian deeptech company developing an AI-driven cost and margin intelligence platform for enterprise procurement and finance teams. The platform provides visibility into external cost drivers and their impact on margins, helping organizations navigate market volatility, manage risks, and make data-driven decisions.
As a Data Engineer on the Customer team, you will work behind the scenes to keep customer implementations and the Predikt platform running smoothly. You'll operate independently based on clear input and requirements, with some client contact but primarily focused on the engineering side.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building, running, and maintaining data pipelines, including re-running scripts for specific periods when needed
- Setting up and maintaining technical environments (including SSO) and supporting deployments and releases
- Providing first-line bug fixing and technical troubleshooting
- Preparing demos by cleaning and processing data and loading the right data into demo environments
- Executing technical tasks and thinking strategically, working independently based on input gathered by the team
The role offers hybrid work split between the Leuven office (a 2-minute walk from the train station) and home. Requirements:
- Master's degree in a technical or IT-related field
- First experience with Python and/or SQL and frontend technologies
- Structured, independent way of working
- Curiosity about data and systems with willingness to learn
- Fluent in English (Dutch not required)
- Unrestricted right to work in Belgium/EU at time of application (no visa sponsorship available)
- Can-do mentality: ability to dive in, figure things out, and take initiative when unclear
