Onside Technology builds data and operational software for agriculture, helping farms, agribusinesses, contractors, and processors manage on-site tracking, movement across properties, and biosecurity/health and safety risk at enterprise scale. In this role, you will own the design, build, and reliability of data pipelines and orchestration for your area, leveraging AI where appropriate. You'll drive the quality of warehouse models that underpin analytics, BI, and customer-facing reporting. Key responsibilities include resolving data issues end-to-end by fixing root causes rather than symptoms, having real input into testing, monitoring, and documentation practices, mentoring junior engineers, and representing the data team across Product, Engineering, Customer, and Finance functions.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong Python and SQL
- Experience building reliable data pipelines on AWS (ideally Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, S3, or DynamoDB)
- Understanding of APIs, webhooks, event-driven systems, and data quality
- Experience with testing, Git, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Superset)
- Bonus: Dagster, dbt, DLT, Athena, Iceberg, or ClickHouse
- Plus: third-party integrations, multi-region systems, or data security and governance
