Tegus by AlphaSense facilitates valuable expert calls between clients and industry specialists. Given the proprietary insights in these conversations, compliance is critical to the business. The Compliance Team ensures clients receive actionable insights while maintaining the highest legal and regulatory standards.
As a Compliance Analyst, you will review expert call transcripts to detect and resolve instances of material nonpublic and confidential information in accordance with internal protocols, applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will complete due diligence reviews of each call, document any violations comprehensively, and escalate non-compliance with Tegus sourcing guidelines as necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review expert call transcripts to identify and resolve sensitive information violations
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence and document compliance issues
- Research financial reports and regulatory filings using internal databases and external resources to determine if information is in the public domain
- Manage internal and external communications while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry, tracking, and workflow maintenance while identifying operational improvements
This is a night shift role (2pm–10pm Pacific Time) requiring agility, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work 2pm–10pm Pacific Time
- 1–2 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, compliance analyst, financial analyst, business analyst, or similar role preferred (but not required); strong transferrable skills in research and analysis are highly valued
- Acute attention to detail and strong reading comprehension with proofreading, drafting, and investigative/research experience
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time, and remain highly organized while working independently
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments with ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
