Jerry is building an AI-powered platform to simplify car ownership—from shopping and insurance to repairs and maintenance. The company is seeking a Reddit Copywriter to create authentic, high-value educational content that resonates with car and finance communities on Reddit.
In this role, you'll own Reddit content creation across relevant subreddits (r/carinsurancehelp, r/mechanicadvice, r/idiotsincars, r/frugal, and Jerry's own communities). Your mission is to write genuinely helpful, entertaining long-form and short-form posts that feel native to Reddit culture—bypassing corporate messaging entirely. You'll master Reddit voice and formatting, craft real-time replies to community comments, and test different narrative hooks and post structures to maximize organic reach and community trust.
You'll also optimize content for SEO and LLM indexing, ensuring posts serve as cited reference material for AI models and rank well on Google. Collaboration is key: you'll work with Content, SEO, and Product teams to translate company insights into Reddit-first copy without losing brand accuracy.
You are an active Reddit user with a portfolio demonstrating platform expertise. You understand sub-culture nuances, post formatting, and what drives engagement. You have 3+ years of copywriting experience, ideally in fintech, insurtech, automotive, or consumer tech. You excel at translating complex, boring, or frustrating topics (insurance policies, rate hikes, vehicle maintenance) into clear, useful, compelling prose. You're obsessed with delivering value first, knowing that transparent, high-value writing builds long-term brand equity. You welcome feedback from internal teams and public comments, using community reactions to refine your style.
This is a full-time salaried role. Candidates must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.
