ServiceTitan is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to join the Data Engineering department. This role is central to the company's implementation and data migration process, focusing on deconstructing and re-interpreting databases from customer software to translate them into ServiceTitan's data model.
You will manage a diverse portfolio of tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluate and understand database structures from various software systems and interpret them into ServiceTitan's data model
- Write SQL queries to correct, reformat, and move data
- Find and employ methods for transferring data sources not previously encountered
- Maintain and update a repository of useful scripts
- Manage a wide variety of tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
- Clearly communicate project status and updates with internal and external clients
- Work directly with customers when evaluating new software, reviewing source data, presenting cleanups to the data team, and coordinating between client, data engineer, and onboarding teams
This role is highly critical to reducing overall data migration time and is considered the lynchpin of the sales and onboarding process. Data quality concerns are a primary blocker for customer adoption, making accurate and timely data transfers essential.
Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 PM–2 AM Armenia time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years of experience with SQL Server (2008/2012/2014/2016)
- Basic knowledge and experience in T-SQL
- Basic understanding of database and data model concepts
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to identify relationships within databases and infer developer intent based on structure and values
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment with tight deadlines and high expectations
- Experience in C# or Java is a plus
