Ramp is seeking an Associate in Capital Markets to join its Finance and Capital Markets team. The role focuses on building and scaling Ramp's capital markets function while supporting the company's growth trajectory.
Key responsibilities include supporting live transactions through financial modeling, structuring, internal memos, lender communication, and document review. You'll evaluate funding strategies within Ramp's broader corporate strategy and engage cross-functionally with accounting, data, engineering, finance, product, treasury, and risk teams on strategic initiatives including product expansion and financial partnerships.
You'll manage day-to-day operations of Ramp's warehouse and ABS facilities, own the suite of Capital Markets models, and ensure accuracy of Capital Markets data tapes. The role also involves identifying opportunities to automate and streamline processes for increased efficiency and scalability.
Ramp automates how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies, providing infrastructure for finance teams embedded in transaction flows. The company's median customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field, and 3+ years of experience in sell-side or buy-side ABS trading, securitization, asset financing, leveraged finance, or FIG coverage banking. You'll need excellent financial modeling and quantitative data analytics skills, comfort with large datasets, meticulous attention to detail, strong relationship and communication abilities, and the ability to thrive in small, collaborative, ambiguous environments. Familiarity with AI tools is expected.
