Mavenir is seeking an Architect for Testing & Validation to lead the design and implementation of comprehensive test and validation strategies for its cloud-native network software platform. This role sits at the intersection of telecom systems expertise and modern software engineering practices, requiring deep knowledge of end-to-end network validation, large-scale integration testing, and quality governance.
You will be responsible for designing scalable test automation frameworks and system validation solutions that operate across distributed environments and multiple systems. This includes defining test strategies, frameworks, and validation approaches; analyzing and establishing quality metrics and governance models; and optimizing testing processes across complex telecom infrastructure.
The role demands expert-level understanding of IMS Core network testing, SIP/RTP/DIAMETER/HTTP protocols, VoLTE systems, and IP-PBX architectures. You will work with modern DevOps and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, GitLab) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Helm, JSON, YAML). A key differentiator is expertise in AI/ML-enabled testing methodologies and driving AI-SDLC practices.
You will mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong communication, problem-solving, and customer focus. This is an opportunity to shape testing practices for a company serving 250+ Communications Service Providers across 120+ countries, impacting networks that serve over 50% of the world's subscribers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert-level understanding of end-to-end telecom system validation and large-scale integration testing
- Extensive experience defining test strategies, frameworks, and validation approaches
- Strong capability in designing scalable test automation and system validation solutions
- Proficiency in IMS Core network testing
- Technical expertise: Unix, Python, SIPp, Seagull
- Deep knowledge of SIP, RTP, DIAMETER, HTTP, VoLTE, IP-PBX protocols and systems
- Expert-level AI/ML-enabled testing capabilities
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, GitLab
- Expert-level skills in Helm, JSON, YAML deployment
- Ability to drive AI-SDLC initiatives
